An implant is an artificial root that is shaped like a screw and is surgically placed into the jawbone. After the bone has healed from the implant placement, the implant is topped with a porcelain crown to appear as a natural tooth. Implants provide the most stable, durable, and long-lasting support for dental restorations. Dr. Hipp and Dr. Wolfe at our Haubstadt office can manage your implant needs, from implant placement to restoring the implant with a crown or denture.

A denture is a removable restoration used to replace missing teeth. A complete denture is used when all of the teeth are missing, but a partial denture is used to fill empty space when some natural teeth are still present in the mouth. Implant-supported dentures are a great way to increase the stability and functionality of the denture. Dental implants are placed in the mouth prior to making the denture.

We use tooth-colored composite filling material to repair tooth decay, fractures, cracks, etc. The affected portion of the tooth is removed and then restored with the correct shade of composite filling to match your tooth.

A crown is the recommended solution for a tooth with large amounts of decay or damage that needs extra support and cannot be fixed with a composite filling. Crowns can also be used for cosmetic purposes to improve a tooth’s overall appearance.

A dental bridge is an excellent solution to replace missing teeth and to keep your adjacent teeth from drifting out of position. We will work with one of our dental lab partners to create the best restoration to fit your personal needs.

Root canal therapy is necessary when the nerve of a tooth has been affected by decay or infection. Root canal therapy can repair a damaged tooth that would otherwise need to be extracted and keep the tissue around the tooth healthy and free from inflammation.
