Insurance

If you have dental insurance, you should know that dental insurance plans function quite differently from general medical insurance. Consider your dental insurance as a supplement to paying for treatment, not an indicator of the oral healthcare you need or what quality dental materials should cost. We make recommendations for your care based on your unique needs and our use of the highest quality materials and procedures available, not on what your dental plan will cover.

Please keep in mind that you are responsible for your total obligation should your insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated.

As a courtesy to our patients, we will file all claims to your dental insurance company. It is your responsibility to provide accurate and updated information regarding your policy in order for us to accurately file a claim on your behalf. Our office does not participate in medicare/medicaid programs; consequently, we are unable to file to these programs.

Financial Policy

We believe in the importance of quality dental care, and we strive to provide the best dental treatment possible. Also, we understand the financial limitation that influences your choice of care.

We work with all insurance companies and always try to maximize your coverage through meticulous detailing of procedures and interaction with your insurer. We fill out claim forms, and we are available to answer any questions we can. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks.

Please remember, however, that you are responsible for the portion of your treatment not covered by insurance. Because we, too, must balance our finances, we ask that you pay your portion of the bill at the time of treatment. We accept: Cash, Check, FSA / HSA*, Credit / Debit, Digital Wallet, eCheck / ACH

If you choose to pay with a Credit / Debit card, Digital Wallet, or eCheck / ACH, a convenience fee will be applied. *FSA / HSA cards are exempt from a convenience fee when processed in person. Payment is due at the time services are performed.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that unplanned issues can come up, and you may need to cancel an appointment. If that happens, we respectfully ask for scheduled appointments to be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.

Our doctor and hygienists want to be available for your needs and the needs of all our patients. When a patient does not show up for a scheduled appointment, another patient loses an opportunity to be seen. We consider an appointment confirmed once the appointment is scheduled. A minimum charge of $50 per hour may be posted to your account if an appointment is cancelled without a 24 hour advance notice.

Rest assured that we are here to help make quality dental care obtainable for all. We look forward to working with you to achieve excellent dental health.
